Warlord Games is showcasing their LRDG (Long Range Desert Group) Chevrolet Truck.
These trucks were used by a small elite force that were tasked with deep penetration, covert recon patrols behind enemy lines. Formed in 1940 they were numbered only a scant 350 volunteers operating in North Africa until the surrender of Axis forces in May 1943. Transferred to conduct operations in Italy, Greek Islands and the Balkans until the end of fighting in Europe.
Given the scope and scale of Bolt Action the LRDG makes an excellent addition to their growing line of North African forces.
