It is official...

Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is going to be available for the Xbox One, PS4 and the PC on October 28 of this year. The PC users that already own all of the DLC (Dawnguard, Dragonborn, Hearthfire) will get this enhanced version for free which is understandable.

First and foremost the game is going to get a graphics overhaul including volumetric god rays and snow shades...again this is to be expected. Given the level of support that modders have given Skyrim they certainly can see which mods garnered the most interest. Of course that begs the $20,000 question...what mods are going to be included for consoles?

The term "select" was used in conjunction with mods...so we aren't going to get them all. Obviously...more than a few will be disqualified due to their...adult...nature so just let that go no need to complain about that. There are still a plethora (thank you Thesaurus.com) for them to choose from and some of them are really awesome.

My choices go like this...

Lightweight Potions (because I prefer healing potions to Mammoth Snout)
Sneak Tools (because not all of us play the game like Conan)
Magic of Skyrim (155 new spells with scrolls and staves added to vendors)
Immersive Armors (tons of new armor sets that are lore friendly...i.e. not for Japanese Anime)
Bandolier Bags and Pouches (stylish and the enhance your carry weight)
Throwing Weapons (sometimes you just want to reach out and stick someone)
Staves of Skyrim (variations and modify how they work)
Immersive Weapons (you got the armor...now get the weapons)
Cloaks of Skyrim (a good cloak can keep you alive in the frigid north)
Camping Kit (for those who do not fast travel)

Well that is my wish...which is subject to change without notice.

What are yours?
